Who we are

Millbrook Campground is a family-owned campground at 1184 Vermont Route 100, Westfield, VT 05874. This policy covers our website, millbrookcampgroundvt.com, and our online reservation system. Questions about privacy can be sent to coreyalix@gmail.com.

Information we collect

• Reservation details: your name, email address, phone number, the site and dates you book, the number of guests and your camping type (for example tent, RV or vehicle).
• Payments: card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only the payment amount, status and a Stripe reference.
• Waivers, reviews and photos you submit: the name you enter and the review or photo itself. A signed waiver also records the time, your IP address and your browser type as proof of signature.
• Availability alerts: your email address and the dates you asked us to watch.
• Server logs: like most websites, our server records requests (IP address, page requested, browser type and referring page) for security and troubleshooting.

Anonymous usage analytics

To find and fix problems in the booking process we record anonymous usage events, such as which booking step was reached or that a form field showed an error. These events use a random id that lives only in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. They use no cookies and contain no name, email, phone number, IP address, form values or other personal information. They are deleted after 60 days. Analytics are turned off when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking services.

How we use your information

• To take, manage and change your reservations.
• To send receipts, confirmations and reminders.
• To contact you about your stay by email, phone call or text message, for example about arrival details, site changes or seasonal renewals.
• To keep the website secure and working well.

Google user data

Our reservation system uses the Gmail API with the https://mail.google.com/ scope for one purpose: sending campground emails (such as reservation confirmations, receipts and our own daily status report) from the campground owner's own Gmail account. It sends through that single account only.

We do not read, store, share or sell Google user data from anyone else, and we do not use Google user data for advertising or to train AI models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the campground (Stripe for payments, Google for email delivery and our hosting provider), when required by law, or to protect the safety of our guests.

How long we keep it

We keep reservation and payment records for as long as needed to manage your stays and to meet our tax and accounting obligations. Anonymous analytics events are deleted after 60 days.

Your choices and deletion requests

To see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, email coreyalix@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, such as payment records.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
